Lightening claims live of four in South Punjab: PMDA

LAHORE: In a tragic incident, four people died and four were severely injured after a lightning strike in South Punjab. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reports that lightning strikes in South Punjab on Sunday.

The representative for the PDMA verified that the victims were citizens of Rajanpur and Bahawalpur. To guarantee that the injured receive the finest medical care possible, DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia contacted the appropriate Deputy Commissioners and gave them instructions.

He also declared that the relatives of the deceased would receive financial support. Nonetheless, during the forecast period, South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast and Southern Punjab, and Northeast Balochistan are expected to have isolated hailstorms or heavy falls accompanied by gusty winds.
