ISLAMABAD: Serious allegations have been made against a constable of Abad Police for occupying the house and vehicles of his ex-wife, who is also a police employee, while despite being found guilty in the inquiry, no case has been registered yet.
According to sources, an official named Constable Hisham has occupied the house of his ex-wife while he has also taken possession of two of her ex-wife’s vehicles. After the complaint came to light, the concerned SP conducted an inquiry in which Constable Hisham was found guilty.
Sources say that the SP sent the inquiry report to the SSP for action, however, despite the allegations being proven in the report, no case has been registered against the constable yet.
Sources have claimed that the constable has the backing of an influential senior officer of the Islamabad Police, due to which the police authorities are reluctant to take action against him.
The victim and her friend are demanding justice, while the lack of legal action despite being found guilty in the inquiry has raised questions about the performance of the senior police officials.
On the other hand, no official position has been taken on the matter by the police authorities so far.
