KARACHI: A local court in Karachi sent actor Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan, on a day of physical remand in a drug trafficking case linked with Mustafa Amir’s murder.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Sindh Police presented Sahir in the court of judicial magistrate (south) on Sunday demanding physical remand for further interrogation.
In the hearing, the investigating officer said that over 500 grams of drugs were recovered from the suspect’s possession.
Earlier on Saturday, the police arrested four individuals including Sajid Hasan’s son from Karachi’s Defence area. The police have registered a case against the suspect on charges of drug trafficking.
According to the FIR, the suspect was allegedly carrying a black bag on his shoulder during the time of arrest, which contained five packets of drugs.
The police also recovered a “digital scale and other items from the bag,” along with a mobile phone and cash from the suspect’s possession.
According to the details, the arrests were made following revelations by Armaghan and Shiraz, who are detained in the abduction and murder case of BBA student Mustafa Amir.
As per details, Sahir Hasan allegedly confessed to supplying drugs for the past two years. Sources within the police said he also confessed to supplying narcotics to the prime suspect, Armaghan, in the murder case.
