LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo has joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo belongs to the village Lilapur of PP-154. The ceremony of Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo joining the Pakistan Muslim League (N) was held under the chairmanship of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, in which the Speaker National Assembly himself welcomed him.
On this occasion, the people of the village gave a warm welcome to Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and appreciated the progress made under his leadership.
In his address on this occasion, Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo said that he expressed full confidence in the leadership of former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz, and Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and expressed his determination to work with them to serve the people.
He said that despite starting his political career in PTI, he now sees opportunities under the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) that will prove to be the best for the welfare of the people.
Other important political leaders, including Member Provincial Assembly Ghulam Habib Awan, Asif Amin Numberdar, Azad Gujjar, Haji Sajjad, and Abid Hussain, were also present at the event, who welcomed Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo’s joining and praised his political vision.
On this occasion, PML (N) leaders also said that Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo’s joining will give the party more strength and, under his leadership, more successes will be achieved in solving public problems.
Chaudhry Akhtar Mayo’s joining PTI from PML (N) is being seen as a significant political change, which is likely to create new political dimensions not only in his personal political destiny but also in the relevant circles.
