NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces killed three Khawarij of Fitna al Khawarij aka TTP while one Kharji got injured during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Razmak, North Waziristan District, military’s media wing said in a statement on Friday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on the reported presence of Khawarij.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians, it added.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, the ISPR said.
On the successful IBO, President Asif Ali Zardari appreciated the security forces for the intelligence-based operation against the terrorists belonging to Khawarij in North Waziristan. The President said actions against the militants will continue until the complete end of terrorism.
