KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to release advance salaries of all provincial employees before Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the report, the aim of this decision is to facilitate government employees in their preparations for Eid.
A notification has also been issued by the provincial government.
According to the notification, the advance salary of Sindh government employees will be paid on March 21.
In Pakistan, Ramadan 2025 is being celebrated with daily fasting and regular worship, and now the expectation of Eid-ul-Fitr is also increasing with each passing day.
A member of the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council said that Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be celebrated across Pakistan on March 31, 2025, he added. The Shawwal moon will be sighted in most parts of the country on March 30, which is Sunday.
The Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council says the Shawwal moon will be sighted on Saturday, March 29, and by Sunday evening, the moon will be more than 26 hours old and visible to the human eye. The moon should be at least 18 hours old at sunset – a condition that will be easily met across Pakistan on March 30.
