Bangladesh ready to visit Pakistan for T20I Series

Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I series trims to three matches

LAHORE: In good news for Cricket fans, the Bangladesh government has granted permission to their national cricket team to travel to Pakistan for the T20I series, according to media reports.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board had requested their government for approval the travelling following the Pakistan-India standoff.

The cricket series will now take place as per the original schedule, starting from May 27, consisting of five T20I matches. All matches are scheduled to take place in Faisalabad and Lahore.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule of the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League on Tuesday.

“The HBL PSL X will resume from Saturday, 17 May, when Peshawar Zalmi take on Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The final of the six-team tournament will be held on 25 May at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore,” according to a press release from PCB.

“On 18 May, Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host a double-header as Multan Sultans will take on Quetta Gladiators in the afternoon, while Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars will go head-to-head in the evening encounter.

On 19 May, Islamabad United and Karachi Kings will feature in the last group match of the event”, the statement reads.
