ICC announces Women's World Cup 2025 schedule; Pakistan to play in Sri Lanka

LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the dates and venue of the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

According to the ICC, the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 tournament will be played in India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2. The matches of the Women’s World Cup will be played in Bangalore, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam and Colombo.

The opening match of the event will be played in the Indian city of Bangalore on September 30. And the first semi-final of the Women’s World Cup will be played in Guwahati or Colombo on October 29. The second semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup will be held in Bangalore on October 30.

The final of the event is scheduled for November 2 in Bangalore or Colombo. While the Pakistan Women’s team will play all its matches in the event in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

According to sources, even if the Pakistan Women’s team reaches the semi-finals or final, the matches will be played in Sri Lanka.
