According to reports, the video platform YouTube retained its first position in the list of most searched things on Google this year. Users around the world used YouTube the most for music, news, educational content and entertainment videos.
Artificial intelligence-based tool Chat GPT proved its growing importance in the world of technology by securing the second position. Experts say that the use of AI tools for education, research, content production and solving daily problems is continuously increasing.
Facebook and Instagram ranked third and fourth respectively, indicating that social media is still an important part of users’ lives. Similarly, the trend of searching for weather information ranked fifth, a major reason for which is being attributed to seasonal changes and unpredictable weather conditions.
Amazon ranked sixth for online shopping, while surprisingly, Google Search itself ranked seventh, Google Translate ranked eighth for language translation, while WhatsApp Web managed to secure ninth position due to its office and business use.
