Islamabad weather: Warm days to continue in capital city

ISLAMABAD: The residents of Islamabad experienced pleasant weather during the day, whereas light cool wind blew all day long, making the weather bearable as compared to the last few days. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, a Seasonal low lies over north Balochistan. Moist currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating the upper parts of the country. A trough of a westerly wave is affecting the upper parts of the country. Hot and humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavy falls) is expected in the Northeastern Punjab, Potohar region, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir. ISLAMABAD: The residents of the Federal capital are set to witness partly cloudy weather with a warm breeze during the night, whereas warm weather conditions persisted from the morning, bringing a significant temperature rise.

The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 37 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 25 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 10% to 15% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at a speed of 11 km/h. Whereas the chance of precipitation is up to 01 % today.

According to the Met Office, dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while residents of twin cities are set to witness warm days ahead as the weather increases.
