Lahore weather: Light rainfall expected in provincial capital

LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. Scattered rains are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department (PMD), a Seasonal low lies over northwest Balochistan. Monsoon currents are penetrating the upper and central parts of the country. A westerly wave is also prevailing over upper parts of the country.

Rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in East/Northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and North-East Balochistan. Hot and humid weather is likely to persist elsewhere in the country.
