LAHORE: The weather is likely to remain hot and humid in the provincial capital of Lahore from today, while there is no potential chance of rain. The residents will witness bright sunshine from the morning till noon.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 21 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 32 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 52%.
Weather forecasters have confirmed that there is no chance of rain in Lahore today. Additionally, Lahore tops the global pollution list, with an average smog level of 156.
Weather will remain dry in most parts of the country. However, in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, apart from being partly cloudy, there may be light rain with strong winds and thundershowers in a few places.
Residents of Lahore are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
