LAHORE: The Motorway Police have registered a case against a citizen for illegally crossing the motorway on foot at the Hanjarwal police station in Lahore.

According to a Motorway Police spokesperson, a man named Sajjad Mahmood attempted to cross the motorway near Shadiwal, Lahore, which is considered a legal offence and a serious threat to safety.

Spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed said that such irresponsible behavior has led to fatal accidents in the past. He urged citizens to use footbridges to protect their own lives and the lives of others.

The Motorway Police also appealed to the public to follow the law and exercise caution, especially in high-speed and sensitive areas like motorways.
