ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the government has placed more than 50,000 people, including human traffickers, on the no-fly list, also called the Provisional National Identification (PNI) list.
According to the sources, Most have been deported from European countries and other places after being stopped at border entry points while illegally trying to enter the countries.
The information of these people was shared with the Immigration and Passport Office of the Federal Immigration Agency, which led to the Ministry of Interior approving their anticipation for placement on the PNI list.
This is a counteractive measure to avoid going out of Pakistan these people who, in the wake of riotous incidents of migrant boats, are commuting the frontier till they remain on the PNI Watch List.
