ISLAMABAD: Diplomatic sources have said that the ceasefire between Pakistan and India will be in effect until May 12 noon.
According to diplomatic sources, Pakistan has expressed its willingness to ceasefire for the sake of regional peace. India has been violating Pakistani sovereignty since May 7. While Indian drone and missile attacks have destabilized the region.
He said that on the night of May 9 and 10, India attacked the bases. However, Pakistan exercised the right to self-defence under the UN Charter. And Pakistan successfully defended its territory and restored deterrence. Pakistan will thwart the dream of Indian supremacy.
Diplomatic sources said that India’s attacks are a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter. And Indian actions are a serious threat to regional and global peace. While tensions between nuclear states are dangerous for the world. South Asia cannot afford India’s irresponsible behavior.
He said that Pakistan proposed an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam attack. But India rejected the proposal for an investigation and adopted the path of aggression. India ignored the appeals for peace from the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Pakistan had warned the international community about India’s malice. However, now Indian aggression will be met with a strong response at all levels. We want lasting peace in the region, but India will have to stop its aggression.
