KARACHI: Karachi Police has arrested a security guard from the Cantt Station Bus Terminal for killing a 12-year-old girl’s body was found in a garbage bin in Saddar area of Karachi three days ago.
As per the details, the victim, identified as Hari Chand’s daughter Ganga, belongs to the Bagri community.
SHO Frere, Irfan Mayo revealed that the girl’s family said she had left home at around 10pm last night to get bread from Cantt Station Bus Terminal, accompanied by a friend.
Ganga sent her friend back home and said she would follow, but her body was later found under the jurisdiction of the Saddar police station.
The post-mortem confirmed the rape, and the police arrested the accused during the investigation.
According to the police, the accused along with two other security guards sexually assaulted the girl.
The accused confessed to killing the girl for fear of not being identified, while two other accomplices are still absconding.
