LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has announced on her social media that Lahore will be hosting a Giraffe Café for the first time in Pakistan at Safari Park.
This announcement comes after the recent arrival of two giraffes from South Africa. Unlike previously, when one could only view them, visitors will be able to interact with the animals when the Giraffe Café opens up in a totally natural, open-air environment.
The café will be built on raised platforms for safe, up-close giraffe encounters, similar to popular wildlife cafés in Kenya and Thailand.
The Giraffe Café will attract tourists, families, and social media enthusiasts since it assures a very different experience, where wildlife interaction meets leisure dining.
While the government has not yet announced an official opening date, construction and final arrangements are reportedly underway.
