Pakistan sends 100 Tons of essential aid items to Palestine

ISLAMABAD: The First flight with 100 metric tons of critical relief materials for Palestinians has taken off from Islamabad International Airport.

The relief, including foodstuffs and medicines, is being flown to Jordan’s Amman to be delivered further to Palestine.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik were special guests for the departure ceremony.

The NDMA is dispatching a total of 200 tons of relief aid to Palestine through special flights, the 17th shipment so far, and bringing Pakistan’s total aid dispatched to 1,715 tons.

The effort, being done on the Prime Minister’s directives, reaffirms Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to stand with the Palestinian people in these testing times.
