LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued new working hours for courts and offices during the holy month of Ramadan, applicable to all divisions of the principal seat, benches in Rawalpindi, Multan, and Bahawalpur, as well as civil and sessions courts across Punjab.
The decision aims to facilitate court hearings during the holy month of Ramadan without causing any inconvenience to the lawyers and other court members.
According to the official notification, the normal court timings will resume after Ramadan.
Revised Court Timings
– Monday to Thursday:
– Court sittings: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
– Interval: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
– Court sittings: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
– Friday:
– Court sittings: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
– Interval: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
– Court sittings: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
– Saturdays will be reserved for dictating judgments unless otherwise decided by a judge.
Office Hours
– Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
– Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Civil and Sessions Courts Timings
– Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
– Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
