LAHORE: The Punjab government has undertaken the Punjab Social and Economic Registry (PSER) survey to identify and register eligible beneficiaries under the 2025 Ramadan Relief Package.
Ramadan Relief Package is designed to provide financial relief to low-income families during Ramadan by offering essential food items at subsidized rates, with a budget of Rs. 7.5 billion.
The main purpose of the PSER survey is to gather detailed information about deserving families so that the government can effectively implement social welfare programs.
Registration Process
People can get themselves registered as special teams are visiting different households of Punjab to get the people registered through door-to-door registration. They can also contact any one of the over 5,000 registration centers set up at public schools during summer vacation and show their CNIC.
They could also do online registration by accessing the website of the Punjab government, which can be accessed through the official URL (not available), your CNIC, email, password, captcha code, and filling up the registration form with the head of the family.
Key Benefits of the Relief Package
Once the information is verified and submitted, eligibility will be checked and beneficiaries will be registered for welfare schemes. The advantages of registration are many: to avail multiple relief packages such as Ramadan Relief Package that comprises two 10 kg flour bags, cooking oil, lentils, rice, salt, dates, and so on.
Furthermore, the registered can also be availed of under schemes like Solar Panels Program, Kisan Card, and Green Tractor Scheme
