ISLAMABAD: After the last nights abrupt ending to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in federal capital life in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi is returning to normal.
The National Highway and Motorway Police on early Wednesday, re-opened all Motorways including M1, M2, M3, M4 for all commuters to travel efficiently.
Lahore Motorway M1, M2 from Lahore, Sialkot, Eastern Bypass, Multan, Ring Road are completely open for traffic.
Similarly, Motorway M3 (Lahore-Abdul Hakeem) and Motorway M4 (Pindi Bhattian-Multan) have been restored for travel.
The containers removal from the roads is in process after which major key routes will be operational again.
Islamabad Roads Update
According to recent updates, Islamabad key roads including Expressway, Srinagar Highway, Sawan Bridge, Koral Old Air-port, T-chowk, Chungi No 26, Faisal Avenue, Jinnah Avenue from Rescue 15 to Express Chowk are now open for traffic.
Earlier, the Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that schools, roads, and metro bus services would soon be operational again.
Additionally, he confirmed that schools would reopen from tomorrow, roads would be cleared, and internet services, as well as the Metro bus system, would be fully restored at the earliest today.
