RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces have successfully foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists in Ghulam Khan Kili, North Waziristan, killing all 16 infiltrators.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists attempted to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border on the intervening night of March 22-23. Security forces responded promptly and killed all 16 terrorists after a fierce exchange of fire.
The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s continued demand for effective border management from the Afghan interim government, urging it to fulfill its responsibilities and prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan.
Pakistan’s security forces are committed to securing the country’s borders and eliminating terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the successful operation, saying that the intentions of terrorists will never succeed and the entire nation stands with its brave armed forces.
