Malik and Mathira are in the headlines after their recent appearance on 21MM, a talk show hosted by Mathira. The duo can be seen sharing a bit of ambiguous assessment which many find inappropriate and vulgar.
Clips of the interview went viral online, leading to calls on social media for the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to ban the show, and even legal action against the duo for spreading obscenity. While some cited social values, others criticized the duo for negatively influencing young children, as the content is aired on TV.
